New areas of heavy rainfall have recently developed over the area from Ahuimanu to Kaneohe to Waimanalo, while also continuing near Kahana. Rain gages indicate occasional bursts of torrential rainfall, with rain rates in excess of 2 inches per hour falling over already soaked soils. HAZARD. Flash flooding caused by heavy rain. SOURCE.
