A FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH THIS EVENING FOR ALL HAWAIIAN ISLANDS. * WHAT. Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall remains possible. * WHERE. All the main Hawaiian islands. * WHEN. Until 8 PM HST this evening. * IMPACTS. Flood prone roads and other low lying areas may be closed due to elevated runoff and overflowing streams. Urban areas may receive more significant flooding and property damage due to rapid runoff. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - Heavy rain and thunderstorms will continue into this evening as an upper-level low advances through the area.

* WHAT. Flooding caused by excessive rainfall. * WHERE. The island of Oahu in Honolulu County. * WHEN. Until 830 PM HST. * IMPACTS. Minor flooding on roads, poor drainage areas, and in streams. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 521 PM HST, trained weather spotters reported heavy rain over windward Oahu. Rain was falling at a rate of 2 to 3 inches per hour. - Some locations that will experience flooding include. Waiahole, Waikane, Kahaluu, Ahuimanu, Kaaawa, Punaluu, Kaneohe, Kaneohe Marine Base, Hauula, Kalihi, Maunawili, Kailua, Laie, Manoa, Waimanalo, Palolo, Kahuku, Hawaii Kai, Kualoa and Kahana Valley State Park.

Minor flooding on roads, poor drainage areas, and in streams. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 650 PM HST, radar indicated heavy rain over windward Oahu. Rain was falling at a rate of 1 to 2 inches per hour. Rainfall rates are decreasing, however water ponding on roadways and elevated stream levels are expected to continue into the evening hours. - Some locations that will experience flooding include. Waiahole, Waikane, Kahaluu, Ahuimanu, Kaaawa, Punaluu, Kaneohe, Kaneohe Marine Base, Hauula, Kalihi, Maunawili, Kailua, Laie, Manoa, Waimanalo, Palolo, Kahuku, Hawaii Kai, Kualoa and Kahana Valley State Park.
