SMWMLB The National Weather Service in Melbourne has issued a * Special Marine Warning for. Flagler Beach to Volusia-Brevard County Line 0-20 nm. Flagler Beach to Volusia-Brevard County Line 20-60 nm. * Until 645 AM EDT. * At 541 AM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing waterspouts was located 21 nm east of Daytona Beach Shores, moving east at 35 knots. HAZARD. Waterspouts and wind gusts 34 knots or greater. SOURCE. Radar. IMPACT. Waterspouts can can quickly form and capsize boats, damage vessels and create locally hazardous seas. Make sure all on board are wearing life jackets. Expect wind gusts in excess of 34 knots, suddenly higher waves, lightning and heavy downpours. Make sure all on board are wearing life jackets. Return to safe harbor if possible. * The severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly open waters.

* WHAT. Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE. Portions of northeast and northern Florida, including the following counties, in northeast Florida, Flagler and Putnam. In northern Florida, Marion. * WHEN. Until 645 AM EDT. * IMPACTS. Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 344 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include.
