SMWMFL The National Weather Service in Miami has issued a * Special Marine Warning for. Coastal waters from Deerfield Beach to Ocean Reef FL out 20 NM. Coastal waters from Jupiter Inlet to Deerfield Beach FL out 20 NM. Waters from Deerfield Beach to Ocean Reef FL from 20 to 60 NM excluding the territorial waters of Bahamas. Waters from Jupiter Inlet to Deerfield Beach FL from 20 to 60 NM. * Until 715 PM EDT. * At 636 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing waterspouts was located over Hillsboro Beach, or over Lighthouse Point, moving east at 30 knots. HAZARD. Waterspouts, wind gusts 34 knots or greater, and large hail. SOURCE. Radar. IMPACT. Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves. Large hail could result in structural damage. * Locations impacted include. Lauderdale-By-The-Sea, Lighthouse Point, Highland Beach, Sea Ranch Lakes, Hillsboro Beach, Boca Raton, Fort Lauderdale, Pompano Beach, and Deerfield Beach.
