The areas affected include. Coastal waters from Riviera Beach to Belray Beach from 30 to 50 NM out. At 752 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. These thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 16 nm east of Palm Beach Shores to 16 nm east of Ocean Ridge to 17 nm east of Highland Beach, moving east at 15 to 20 knots.

* WHAT. Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE. A portion of southeast Florida, including the following county, Palm Beach. * WHEN. Until 815 PM EDT. * IMPACTS. Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 710 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorm. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen from the thunderstorms. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area with the thunderstorms. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include. West Palm Beach, Boynton Beach, Wellington, Lake Worth, Palm Beach, Ocean Ridge, Greenacres, Royal Palm Beach, Palm Springs, Lantana, Atlantis, Haverhill, Cloud Lake, Gun Club Estates, Royal Palm Estates, Palm Beach International Airport, Lake Belvedere Estates, Schall Circle, Golden Lakes and Downtown West Palm Beach. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 749 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated has indicated that the thunderstorms have move offshore. However, 1 to 3 inches have fallen from the thunderstorms and this amount of water will take sometime to drain away.Therefore, the Flood Advisory will continue until 8:15 PM EDT this evening. - Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. - Some locations that will experience flooding include.
