The areas affected include. Coastal waters from Deerfield Beach to Ocean Reef FL out 20 NM. Waters from Deerfield Beach to Ocean Reef FL from 20 to 60 NM excluding the territorial waters of Bahamas. At 612 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a strong thunderstorm, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots and small hail. This thunderstorm was located near Hillsboro Beach, or near Lighthouse Point, moving east at 20 knots.

SMWMFL The National Weather Service in Miami has issued a * Special Marine Warning for. Coastal waters from Jupiter Inlet to Deerfield Beach FL out 20 NM. Waters from Jupiter Inlet to Deerfield Beach FL from 20 to 60 NM. * Until 645 PM EDT. * At 553 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing waterspouts was located 8 nm east of Highland Beach, moving east at 20 knots. HAZARD. Waterspouts, wind gusts to 40 knots, and small hail. SOURCE. Radar. IMPACT. Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves. * Locations impacted include. Ocean Ridge, Highland Beach, South Palm Beach, Manalapan, Briny Breezes, and Gulf Stream.
