At 1252 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Welona, or 12 miles southwest of Rockford, moving east at 40 mph. HAZARD. Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE. Radar indicated. IMPACT. Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include. Rockford, Equality, Speed, Lyle, Pentonville, Dollar, Cottage Grove, Highway 9 and Highway 22, Welona, Nixburg, Higgins Ferry Park, Mitchell Lake, and Central.

North central Macon County in southeastern Alabama. South central Tallapoosa County in east central Alabama. * Until 200 AM CDT. * At 113 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Eclectic, or 7 miles west of Tallassee, moving east at 30 mph. HAZARD. 60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail. SOURCE. Radar indicated. IMPACT. Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. * Locations impacted include. Tuskegee, Tallassee, Notasulga, Franklin, Liberty City, Reeves Airport, Tallapoosa City, Yates Dam, Reeltown, Uphapee Creek, and Yates Reservoir.

Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is already occurring. HAZARD. Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE. Public reported. IMPACT. Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include.
