Coastal waters from Lower Atchafalaya River to Intracoastal City LA out 20 NM. Vermilion and West Cote Blanche Bays. * Until 100 AM CDT. * At 1154 PM CDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 35 nm northeast of Vermilion Bay to West Cote Blanche Bay, moving southeast at 25 knots. HAZARD. Wind gusts 34 knots or greater and small hail. SOURCE. Radar. IMPACT. Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves. * Locations impacted include. Vermilion Bay, West Cote Blanche Bay, and Atchafalaya Bay.

At 1142 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Rosedale to 9 miles southwest of Bayou Sorrel. Movement was northeast at 30 mph. HAZARD. Winds in excess of 40 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE. Radar indicated. IMPACT. Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include. Baton Rouge, Donaldsonville, Plaquemine, Port Allen, Oak Hills Place, St. Gabriel, Addis, Brusly, White Castle, Rosedale, Grosse Tete, Westminster, Merrydale, Geismar, Inniswold, Ramah, Village St. George, Bayou Sorrel, Gardere, and Carville. This includes the following Interstates. Interstate 10 in Louisiana between mile markers 127 and 170, and near mile marker 173. Interstate 12 between mile markers 1 and 6. Interstate 110 in Louisiana between mile markers 1 and 6.
