Gusty winds from decaying thunderstorms will affect areas from the Concho Valley, southern Big Country, to the Heartland areas over the next hour or so. Wind gusts to around 60 MPH, along with blowing dust causing reduced visibilities locally will result in hazardous driving conditions across these areas. In addition, damage to roofs, siding, and trees could also occur.

At 818 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Millers Creek Reservoir, moving east at 25 mph. HAZARD. Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE. Radar indicated. IMPACT. Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include. Throckmorton, Weinert, Millers Creek Reservoir, Elbert, Us- 183 Near The Throckmorton- Baylor County Line, and The Intersection Of Us-380 And Highway 222.

Northwestern Jones County in west central Texas. * Until 915 PM CDT. * At 816 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 7 miles north of Hamlin, moving southeast at 15 mph. HAZARD. Golf ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts. SOURCE. Radar indicated. IMPACT. People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. * This severe thunderstorm will be near. Hamlin around 820 PM CDT. Stamford around 900 PM CDT. Other locations impacted by this severe thunderstorm include Funston, The Intersection Of Us-180 And Ranch Road 126, and Tuxedo.
