* WHAT. Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE. A portion of southwest Illinois, including the following counties, east central Greene, northeastern Jersey and northwestern Macoupin. * WHEN. Until 645 PM CDT. * IMPACTS. Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 241 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include. Jerseyville, Palmyra, Kemper, Medora, Modesto, Chesterfield, Hettick, Rockbridge, Scottville and Fidelity.

Portions of Illinois, including the following counties, northwestern Calhoun, northern Greene, northwestern Macoupin and east central southeastern Pike and northeast Missouri, including the following county, east central southeastern Pike. * WHEN. Until 745 PM CDT. * IMPACTS. Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 341 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include. White Hall, Carrollton, Roodhouse, Pleasant Hill, Clarksville, Athensville, Belleview, Independence, Bedford, Patterson, Montezuma, Martinsburg, Nebo, Kampsville, Milton, Eldred, Hillview, Pearl, Detroit and Florence.

FFWLSX The National Weather Service in St Louis has issued a * Flash Flood Warning for. East Central Greene County in southwestern Illinois. Northeastern Jersey County in southwestern Illinois. Northwestern Macoupin County in southwestern Illinois. * Until 915 PM CDT Friday. * At 313 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD. Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE. Radar indicated. IMPACT. Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include. Jerseyville, Palmyra, Kemper, Medora, Modesto, Chesterfield, Hettick, Rockbridge, Scottville and Fidelity. This includes the following State Parks. Beaver Dam State Park.

The National Weather Service in St Louis MO has issued a Flood Warning for the following rivers in Missouri. Illinois. Mississippi River at Louisiana. Mississippi River at Clarksville. Mississippi River at Hannibal. Mississippi River at Saverton. River forecasts are based on observed precipitation and forecast precipitation for the next 24 hours. * WHAT. Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE. Mississippi River at Clarksville. * WHEN. From Monday morning until further notice. * IMPACTS. At 25.5 feet, State Route P east of Elsberry begins flooding just east of the levee. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 12:00 PM CDT Friday the stage was 24.3 feet. - Forecast. The river is expected to rise to a crest of 27.3 feet Thursday morning. It will then rise to 27.3 feet Thursday morning. Additional rises are possible thereafter. - Flood stage is 25.0 feet.
