At 1127 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a strong thunderstorm, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. This thunderstorm was located 47 nm east of Jacksonville Beach, or 51 nm northeast of Saint Augustine, moving southeast at 15 knots.
