SMWBOX The National Weather Service in Boston/Norton has issued a * Special Marine Warning for. Cape Cod Bay. Coastal waters east of Ipswich Bay and the Stellwagen Bank National Marine Sanctuary. Coastal waters from Provincetown MA to Chatham MA to Nantucket MA out 20 nm. Massachusetts Bay and Ipswich Bay. Ocean Waters from the Merrimack River to Plymouth from 40 to 60 NM offshore. * Until 315 PM EDT. * At 211 PM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Jeffreys Ledge Buoy 44098 to 8 nm east of Mass Bay Buoy 44029 to near Boston Buoy 44013 to 8 nm west of Kingston, moving east at 30 knots. HAZARD. Wind gusts to nearly 50 knots and small hail. SOURCE. Radar. IMPACT. Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves. * Locations impacted include. The Coastal Waters East Of Cape Ann, Stellwagen Bank, The Coastal Waters East Of Boston Harbor, Minot Light, Ocean Bluff-Brant Rock, Green Harbor, Gurnet Point, Boston Buoy 44013, Race Point, Plymouth Light, Jeffreys Ledge Buoy 44098, Scituate Harbor, and Duxbury Pier Light.
