Chesapeake Bay from Windmill Point to New Point Comfort VA. * Until 730 PM EDT. * At 608 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing strong winds and waterspouts was located near Mobjack Bay, moving east at 25 knots. HAZARD. Wind gusts to nearly 50 knots and large hail, with waterspouts also possible. SOURCE. Radar. IMPACT. Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves. Large hail could result in structural damage. * The severe thunderstorm will be near. Mobjack Bay around 615 PM EDT.
