THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED TORNADO WATCH 295 IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 PM CDT THIS EVENING FOR THE FOLLOWING AREAS IN OKLAHOMA THIS WATCH INCLUDES 9 COUNTIES IN SOUTHWEST OKLAHOMA GREER HARMON JACKSON KIOWA TILLMAN IN WESTERN OKLAHOMA BECKHAM CUSTER ROGER MILLS WASHITA IN TEXAS THIS WATCH INCLUDES 5 COUNTIES IN NORTHERN TEXAS BAYLOR FOARD HARDEMAN KNOX WILBARGER THIS INCLUDES THE CITIES OF ALTUS, BURNS FLAT, CHEYENNE, CLINTON, CORDELL, CROWELL, ELK CITY, FREDERICK, GRANITE, HAMMON, HOBART, HOLLIS, KNOX CITY, MANGUM, MUNDAY, QUANAH, SAYRE, SENTINEL, SEYMOUR, SNYDER, VERNON, AND WEATHERFORD.

SVROUN The National Weather Service in Norman has issued a * Severe Thunderstorm Warning for. Southeastern Jackson County in southwestern Oklahoma. Western Tillman County in southwestern Oklahoma. * Until 930 PM CDT. * At 839 PM CDT, the leading edge of winds from a line of severe thunderstorms was located along a line extending from 3 miles north of Headrick to 3 miles north of Tipton to 8 miles south of Humphreys, moving east at 20 mph. HAZARD. 70 mph wind gusts. SOURCE. At 8:25 pm, a 68 mph wind gust occurred at the Altus Mesonet site. IMPACT. Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings. * Locations impacted include. Frederick, Tipton, Manitou, and Hess.

Two inch hail and 70 mph wind gusts. SOURCE. Radar indicated. IMPACT. People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings. * Locations impacted include. Altus, Snyder, Mountain Park, Indiahoma, Roosevelt, Headrick, Friendship, Altus Air Force Base, Warren, Tom Steed Reservoir, and northwestern Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge.
