Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE. The West Fork Des Moines River at Estherville, or from the Iowa-Minnesota border. to near Wallingford. * WHEN. Until Thursday morning. * IMPACTS. At 10.0 feet, Extensive lowland flooding occurs particularly over the parkland areas near the river. At 11.0 feet, Mike Mickelson Park south of Iowa 9 is inundated. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 10:00 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 10.9 feet. - Forecast. The river is expected to fall below flood stage Wednesday evening and continue falling and remain below flood stage. - Flood stage is 10.0 feet.
