In northeast Texas, Anderson, Delta, Henderson, Hopkins, Lamar, Rains and Van Zandt. * WHEN. Until 1 AM CDT Friday. * IMPACTS. Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor-drainage and urban areas. For the Angelina River. including Alto, Lufkin. Minor flooding is forecast. For the Neches River. including Lake Palestine, Neches, Alto, Diboll, Rockland. Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT. Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE. Neches River near Alto. * WHEN. Until early Friday afternoon. * IMPACTS. At 16.0 feet, Boat ramps and picnic areas near the river will begin to flood. Ranchers should move cattle and equipment near the river to higher ground. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 8:15 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 16.2 feet. - Bankfull stage is 16.0 feet. - Recent Activity. The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 8:15 PM CDT Wednesday was 16.6 feet. - Forecast.
