The National Weather Service in Fort Worth TX has issued a Flood Warning for the following rivers in Texas. Navasota River Above Groesbeck affecting Limestone County. * WHAT. Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE. Navasota River above Groesbeck. * WHEN. From Saturday afternoon to late Sunday evening. * IMPACTS. At 7.0 feet, Minor out of bank flow will occur along the left bank of the river. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 9:40 PM CDT Friday the stage was 3.9 feet. - Bankfull stage is 7.0 feet. - Flood stage is 7.0 feet. - Forecast. The river is expected to rise above flood stage tomorrow afternoon to a crest of 7.8 feet early Sunday morning. It will then fall below flood stage late Sunday morning.
