Waters from Intracoastal City to Cameron LA from 20 to 60 NM. * Until 1145 PM CDT. * At 1038 PM CDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 16 nm northwest of White Lake to near West Cameron 130, moving southeast at 30 knots. HAZARD. Wind gusts to 40 knots and small hail. SOURCE. Radar. IMPACT. Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves. * Locations impacted include. At 1020 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Rayne to near Creole. Movement was east at 60 mph. HAZARD. Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE. Radar indicated. IMPACT. Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to vegetation and outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include. Lafayette, Crowley, Abbeville, Catahoula, Jennings, Scott, Breaux Bridge, Rayne, Carencro, Cameron, St. Martinville, Kaplan, Church Point, Welsh, Iowa, Lake Arthur, Iota, Gueydan, Mermentau, and Rockefeller Wildlife Range. This includes the following highways. Interstate 10 in Louisiana between mile markers 44 and 118. Interstate 49 between mile markers 1 and 8.
