At 316 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near North Higgins Lake to 10 miles southeast of Marion. Movement was northeast at 25 mph. HAZARD. Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE. Radar indicated. IMPACT. Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include. Houghton Lake, Gladwin, Roscommon, Prudenville, St. Helen, Hockaday, Higgins Lake, North Higgins Lake, Roscommon Township, Lake St. Helen, Skeels, Twin Lakes Area, Roscommon County Airport, Luzerne, South Branch Township, Nester Township, South Higgins Lake, and Foster Township.

A portion of Northern Lower Michigan, including the following counties, Alcona, Alpena, Antrim, Benzie, Charlevoix, Cheboygan, Crawford, Emmet, Grand Traverse, Kalkaska, Leelanau, Montmorency, Oscoda, Otsego and Presque Isle. * WHEN. Through Sunday morning. * IMPACTS. Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Area creeks and streams are running high and could flood with more heavy rain. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - Repeated round of heavy rainfall are expected today and tonight.
