At 1027 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Loveland, or 9 miles south of Fort Collins, moving east at 25 mph. HAZARD. Half inch hail. SOURCE. Radar indicated. IMPACT. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include. Southeastern Fort Collins, Greeley, Loveland, Windsor, Evans, Johnstown, Milliken, Berthoud, Eaton, Severance, LaSalle, Ault, Kersey, Timnath, Purcell, Gill, and Lucerne.

The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment has issued the following. WHAT. Ozone Action Day Alert. WHERE. Douglas, Jefferson, Denver, western Arapahoe, western Adams, Broomfield, Boulder, Larimer, and Weld Counties WHEN. 400 PM Thursday June 13 to 1200 AM Friday June 14 IMPACTS. Ozone Action Day Alert is now in effect for the Front Range Urban Corridor. Request to limit driving gas and diesel- powered vehicles is now in effect until midnight Thursday night (12 AM Friday, June 14, 2024). Ozone concentrations remain high on Thursday afternoon in the southwestern and western portions of the Denver Metro area, including locations in the foothills. Increasing clouds and afternoon storms are expected to keep ozone concentrations in the Good to Moderate range on Friday. For areas included in this advisory that are not expected to reach the Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups (USG) air quality designation, we request that activities, such as driving non- ZEV vehicles (i.e., gas or diesel), be reduced to lessen the impacts on neighboring air quality. Additional air pollution in this region may directly worsen air quality or contribute to precursors which may also adversely affect air quality.
