SMWJAX The National Weather Service in Jacksonville has issued a * Special Marine Warning for. Waters from Altamaha Sound GA to Fernandina Beach FL from 20 to 60 NM. Waters from Fernandina Beach to St. Augustine FL from 20 to 60 NM. * Until 1030 PM EDT. * At 959 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located 38 nm east of Amelia City, or 45 nm south of R2 Tower, moving east at 20 knots. HAZARD. Wind gusts 34 knots or greater and small hail. SOURCE. Radar. IMPACT. Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves. * The strong thunderstorm will remain over mainly open waters.

Waters from Altamaha Sound GA to Fernandina Beach FL from 20 to 60 NM. Waters from Fernandina Beach to St. Augustine FL from 20 to 60 NM. At 915 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots and small hail. These thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near A L T Buoy to 11 nm east of Talbot Island, moving east at 20 knots.
