An upper-level low pressure system will bring the risk for isolated thunderstorms across the eastern Santa Barbara Channel and the waters north of Point Dume out to Santa Cruz Island this morning into afternoon. Any thunderstorm that forms will drift from the mainland and capable of producing locally gusty and erratic winds, rough seas, dangerous cloud to surface lightning, heavy rainfall with reduced visibility, and waterspouts.
