The National Weather Service in Green Bay WI has issued a Flood Warning for the following rivers in Wisconsin. Yellow River at Babcock affecting Wood County. For the Yellow River. including Pittsville, Babcock. Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT. Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE. Yellow River at Babcock. * WHEN. From this afternoon to early Monday afternoon. * IMPACTS. At 14.0 feet, Widespread flooding is occurring in wooded lowland and agricultural areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 8:00 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 8.5 feet. - Bankfull stage is 10.0 feet. - Forecast. The river is expected to rise above flood stage late this afternoon to a crest of 14.1 feet just after midnight tonight. It is then expected to fall below flood stage by Sunday evening. - Flood stage is 12.0 feet. - Flood History. The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.7 feet tomorrow morning. It will then fall below flood stage early tomorrow afternoon. - Flood stage is 12.0 feet. - Flood History.
