The river is expected to reach minor flood stage at Babcock late tonight. For the Yellow River. including Pittsville, Babcock. Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT. Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE. Yellow River at Babcock. * WHEN. From late tonight to late Friday morning. * IMPACTS. At 14.0 feet, Widespread flooding is occurring in wooded lowland and agricultural areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 9:00 AM CDT Wednesday the stage was 6.6 feet. - Bankfull stage is 10.0 feet. - Forecast. The river is expected to rise above flood stage just after midnight tonight to a crest of 13.5 feet Thursdayon morning.
