The National Weather Service in Green Bay WI has issued a Flood Warning for the following rivers in Wisconsin. Yellow River at Babcock affecting Wood County. For the Yellow River. including Pittsville, Babcock. Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT. Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE. Yellow River at Babcock. * WHEN. Through early tomorrow afternoon. * IMPACTS. At 12.0 feet, flooding is confined mainly to agricultural, wooded lowland, and marshes. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 4:00 PM CDT Monday the stage was 12.0 feet. - Bankfull stage is 10.0 feet. - Recent Activity. The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 4:00 PM CDT Monday was 12.0 feet. - Forecast. The river is expected to rise to a crest of 12.1 feet this evening. It will then fall below flood stage this evening. - Flood stage is 12.0 feet. - Flood History.
