At 905 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Kiahsville, or 13 miles southeast of Wayne, moving northeast at 35 mph. HAZARD. Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE. Radar indicated. IMPACT. Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include. Huntington, Wayne, Hamlin, Proctorville, Beech Fork State Park, Barboursville, Ranger, Ona, Spurlockville, Harts, Gill, East Lynn Lake, Kiahsville, West Hamlin, Salt Rock, Palermo, Pea Ridge, East Lynn, Yawkey, and Myra. This includes Interstate 64 in West Virginia between mile markers 10 and 22.
