* WHAT. Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE. A portion of south central Virginia, including the following counties, Charlotte and Halifax. * WHEN. Until 100 AM EDT. * IMPACTS. Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 957 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Up to 2 inches of rain have fallen. - This includes the following streams and drainages. Delaney Creek, Horsepen Creek, Gilliam Branch, Bentleys Branch, Bluestone Creek, Black Walnut Creek, Ash Camp Creek, Hunting Creek, Bush Ford Branch, Dry Fork and Devils Branch. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include. Keysville.
