At 1101 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 8 miles south of Kenbridge to near La Crosse to near Norlina to near Henderson. Movement was east at 30 mph. HAZARD. Heavy rain and frequent lightning. SOURCE. Radar indicated. IMPACT. Reduced visibility and minor flooding possible. Frequent cloud to ground lightning strikes. Locations impacted include. South Hill, Lawrenceville, Kenbridge, Brodnax, Brunswick, La Crosse, Alberta, Gasburg, Ebony, Dundas, Bacons Fork, Cochran, Beechwood, Gills Corner, Dolphin, Bowens Corner, Meredithville, Forksville, Bracey, and Edgerton.

Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 957 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Up to 2 inches of rain have fallen. - This includes the following streams and drainages. Delaney Creek, Horsepen Creek, Gilliam Branch, Bentleys Branch, Bluestone Creek, Black Walnut Creek, Ash Camp Creek, Hunting Creek, Bush Ford Branch, Dry Fork and Devils Branch. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include. Keysville.
