At 1004 PM EDT, Doppler radar and automated weather observations indicated a gust front, capable of producing winds to around 25 knots. This front was located along a line extending from near Smallwood State Park to near Potomac Creek, moving east at 30 knots. The front will be near. Port Tobacco River, Fairview Beach, Nanjemoy Creek, Mathias Point, and Maryland Point around 1010 PM EDT. U.S. 301 Nice Memorial Bridge and Popes Creek around 1015 PM EDT. Colonial Beach and Swan Point around 1025 PM EDT. Cobb Island around 1035 PM EDT. Westmoreland State Park around 1040 PM EDT.

At 859 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a gust front, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. This front was located along a line extending from 21 nm northwest of Key Bridge to 22 nm west of Quantico, moving east at 20 knots. The gust front will reach the waters between 945 and 1000 PM EDT. Locations impacted include. Potomac Creek, Widewater, Leesylvania State Park, Smallwood State Park, National Harbor, Quantico, Fort Washington, Tidal Basin, Reagan National Airport, Gunston Hall, Mason Neck State Park, Woodrow Wilson Bridge, Indian Head, Key Bridge, Occoquan Bay, Fort Hunt, Brent Point, and Alexandria.
