* WHAT. Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE. Portions of central, northwest, and western Virginia, including the following areas, in central Virginia, Albemarle, Central Virginia Blue Ridge, Greene and Nelson. In northwest Virginia, Madison, Northern Virginia Blue Ridge and Rappahannock. In western Virginia, Augusta, Eastern Highland and Western Highland. * WHEN. From 2 AM EDT Friday through Friday evening. * IMPACTS. Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Low-water crossings may be flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - The remnants of Hurricane Helene will impact the area early Friday morning through Friday evening. Heavy rainfall is likely along and just east of the Blue Ridge, and across parts of the Central Shenandoah Valley and surrounding high terrain. For the Coastal Flood Watch, up to one and a half feet of inundation above ground level possible in low lying areas due to tidal flooding. * WHERE. Shoreline in Anne Arundel County. * WHEN. For the Coastal Flood Advisory, from 9 PM this evening to 8 PM EDT Friday, especially around the time of high tide. For the Coastal Flood Watch, from Friday evening through Saturday morning, especially around the time of high tide. * IMPACTS. At 3.2 feet, water begins to approach businesses on Dock Street in Annapolis. The City Dock parking lot is flooded. Compromise Street is flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. Tides one and a half to two feet above normal. The next high tide at Annapolis U.S. Naval Academy is at 2:22 AM and 1:56 PM.

For the Coastal Flood Advisory, until 8 AM EDT Friday, especially around the time of high tide. For the Coastal Flood Watch, from late Friday night through Saturday morning, especially around the time of high tide. * IMPACTS. Shoreline inundation is expected along portions of the seawall adjacent to Ohio Drive and the Hains Point Loop Road and near the Tidal Basin. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. Tides one and a half to two feet above normal. The next high tide at Washington Channel is at 4:15 PM and 4:33 AM.

From 1 AM to 6 AM EDT Friday, especially around the time of high tide. * IMPACTS. At 3.0 feet, flooding is occurring at the end of Thames Street in Baltimore. Water also nearly covers the promenade at the dragon boat dock in the Inner Harbor. At 3.0 feet, water begins encroaching upon yards in the Bowleys Quarters area. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. Tides one and a half to two feet above normal. The next high tide at Fort McHenry Baltimore is at 3:36 AM and 3:30 PM.

Tides one to one and a half feet above normal. The next high tide at Chesapeake Beach is at 12:49 AM and 12:43 PM. The next high tide at Solomons Island is at 11:02 PM and 10:59 AM.

Tides one and a half to two feet above normal. The next high tide at Dahlgren is at 11:31 PM and 11:56 AM. The next high tide at Goose Bay is at 12:25 AM and 1:10 PM. The next high tide at Indian Head is at 4:01 PM and 4:19 AM.
