Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE. Radar indicated. IMPACT. Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include. Shreveport, Vivian, Blanchard, Benton, Oil City, Mooringsport, Hosston, Belcher, Gilliam, Dixie, Caddo Lake, and Cavett.

Movement was northeast at 25 mph. HAZARD. Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE. Radar indicated. IMPACT. Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include. Springhill, Benton, Cullen, Plain Dealing, Cotton Valley, Sarepta, Bradley, Taylor, Bussey, Canfield, Welcome, Lerch, Rocky Mount, Gin City, Walkerville, Cornelius, State Line, Bolinger, Ivan, and Alden Bridge.

* WHAT. Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible. * WHERE. Portions of southwest Arkansas, including the following counties, Howard, Little River, Miller and Sevier, southeast Oklahoma, including the following county, McCurtain, and northeast Texas, including the following counties, Bowie, Camp, Cass, Franklin, Gregg, Harrison, Marion, Morris, Red River, Smith, Titus, Upshur and Wood. * WHEN. Through Friday evening. * IMPACTS. Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - Excessive, heavy rainfall will continue across the Flood Watch area through tonight and into Friday with 2 to 4 inches of rainfall possible with isolated higher amounts. Soils remain very saturated from previous rainfall over the last week and thus, the flash flood threat will only increase overnight into Friday from additional forecasted rainfall.
