At 131 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms near El Sauz, moving southwest at 25 mph. HAZARD. Wind gusts up to 40 mph and nickel size hail. SOURCE. Radar indicated. IMPACT. Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include. Rio Grande City, Roma, Escobares, El Sauz, Lopeno, La Rosita, New Falcon, Los Alvarez, Fort Ringgold County Park, and Garceno. This includes US Highway 83 between mile markers 784 and 826.
