Trinity River near Moss Bluff affecting Liberty and Chambers Counties. For the Trinity River. including Crockett, Riverside, Romayor, Goodrich, Liberty, Moss Bluff. Moderate flooding is forecast. * WHAT. Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE. Trinity River near Moss Bluff. * WHEN. Until further notice. * IMPACTS. At 15.2 feet, Moderate lowland flooding begins in the vicinity of the gage. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 8:30 PM CDT Friday the stage was 14.5 feet. - Bankfull stage is 9.2 feet. - Recent Activity. The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 8:30 PM CDT Friday was 14.6 feet. - Forecast. The river is expected to rise to a crest of 14.5 feet just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 12.2 feet. - Flood History. At 29.0 feet, Major lowland flooding begins as homes in several subdivisions above Liberty begin flooding. Extensive flooding over much of Liberty County can be expected with each incremental rise in the river. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 8:15 PM CDT Friday the stage was 28.8 feet. - Bankfull stage is 21.0 feet. - Recent Activity. The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 8:15 PM CDT Friday was 28.9 feet. - Forecast. The river is expected to remain steady above flood stage at 28.8 feet. - Flood stage is 26.0 feet. - Flood History. Calcasieu River near White Oak Park Calcasieu River Near Salt Water Barrier Sabine River Near Deweyville Additional information is available at www.weather.gov. The next statement will be issued Saturday evening at 845 PM CDT. * WHAT. Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE. Sabine River near Deweyville. * WHEN. Until further notice. * IMPACTS. At 25.0 feet, Lowest roads beside the river flood around Deweyville and subject to being closed. In addition, low-lying roads in Southwest Beauregard Parish are flooded including Robert Clark Road. Flooding occurs on the south side of Niblett Bluff Park with access roads to camp houses cut off around the park. Access roads to the river in Northeastern Orange County become flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 7:45 PM CDT Friday the stage was 24.7 feet. - Recent Activity. The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 7:45 PM CDT Friday was 24.8 feet. - Forecast.
