Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - Deep tropical moisture will be moving across lower southeast Texas producing widespread showers and thunderstorms with heavy rainfall, which may happen in a short period of time. From Tuesday evening through late Wednesday night. * IMPACTS. Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - Widespread showers and thunderstorms associated with an approaching tropical disturbance in the Western Gulf will produce 4-8 inches of rainfall across the area within the watch.
