Galveston Bay. * Until 1115 PM CDT. * At 1011 PM CDT, a gust front was located near North Jetty, moving southeast at 25 knots. HAZARD. Wind gusts 34 knots or greater. SOURCE. Radar. IMPACT. Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves. * Locations impacted include. Southwestern East Galveston Bay, Tabs Buoy B, Galveston Bay Entrance, Galveston 317, Buoy 42035, Galveston 256, North Jetty, Galveston 221, Galveston 282, Galveston 150, High Island 157, San Luis Pass, High Island 63, High Island A179, Surfside Jetty, High Island 208, Galveston Ship Channel, and eastern Galveston Bay.

Trinity River near Moss Bluff. * WHEN. Until Saturday evening. * IMPACTS. At 12.2 feet, Minor lowland flooding begins in the vicinity of the gage. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 8:30 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 13.5 feet. - Bankfull stage is 9.2 feet. - Recent Activity. The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 8:30 AM CDT Thursday was 14.0 feet. - Forecast. * WHAT. Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE. A portion of southeast Texas, including the following counties, Grimes, Harris and Montgomery. * WHEN. Until 1100 PM CDT. * IMPACTS. Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 855 PM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include.
