FFWSJT The National Weather Service in San Angelo has issued a * Flash Flood Warning for. Northwestern Coleman County in west central Texas. East Central Runnels County in west central Texas. * Until 700 PM CDT. * At 348 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain over Glen Cove and Talpa. drifting slowly east. Up to 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD. Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding. SOURCE. Radar. IMPACT. Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include. Coleman, Novice, Glen Cove, Valera, Talpa, Silver Valley, Benoit, Hords Creek Reservoir, Fisk and Mozelle. This includes the following Low Water Crossings. FM-RD 136 crossing Hords Creek, County Road 485 crossing Indian Creek, County Road 406 crossing Home Creek, County Road 300 crossing Home Creek, County Road 348 crossing Bull Creek, crossings along County Road 302, Liveoak crossing Hords Creek, County Road 135 crossing Middle Mustang Creek, Colorado St. crossing Hords Creek Draw and crossings along County Road 157.

Up to 2 inches of rain have fallen. from Benoit to Talpa to 5 miles south of Talpa. and just south of Glen Cove. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. as storms 5 miles north of Benoit. move east at 5 mph. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD. Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding. SOURCE. Radar. IMPACT. * WHAT. Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE. A portion of west central Texas, including the following counties, Coleman and McCulloch. * WHEN. Until 645 PM CDT. * IMPACTS. Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 440 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. over Gouldbush, Shields south to Waldrip. moving southeast at 15 mph. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Up to 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include. Rockwood, Waldrip, Gouldbusk, Lohn, Stacy, Voss, Trickham, Doole, Us-283 Near The Mcculloch-Coleman County Line, Fife, Whon and Shields. - This includes the following Low Water Crossings.
