At 919 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms from northeastern Fisher County into southern Haskell, and northern Jones and Shackelford Counties. All of the activity was moving east- southeast at 20 mph. HAZARD. Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE. Radar indicated. IMPACT. Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include. Stamford, Anson, Hamlin, Albany, Lueders, Neinda, Sylvester, Mccaulley, Paint Creek, Avoca, Lake Stamford Marina, Fort Griffin, Funston, Tuxedo, and Big Country Baptist Assembly.

Gusty winds from decaying thunderstorms will affect areas from the Concho Valley, southern Big Country, to the Heartland areas over the next hour or so. Wind gusts to around 60 MPH, along with blowing dust causing reduced visibilities locally will result in hazardous driving conditions across these areas. In addition, damage to roofs, siding, and trees could also occur.

Southern Shackelford County in west central Texas. * Until 1030 PM CDT. * At 935 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over northern Abilene in southeastern Jones County, moving southeast at 25 mph. HAZARD. Golf ball size hail and 70 mph wind gusts. SOURCE. Radar indicated. IMPACT. People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings. * This severe thunderstorm will be near. Northeastern Abilene and Hamby around 940 PM CDT. Clyde around 955 PM CDT. Baird around 1005 PM CDT. Other locations impacted by this severe thunderstorm include Lake Fort Phantom Hill and Us-283 Near The Callahan- Shackelford County Line. This includes Interstate 20 between Mile Markers 295 and 315.
