* WHAT. Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE. A portion of west central Texas, including the following counties, Nolan, Runnels and Taylor. * WHEN. Until 830 PM CDT. * IMPACTS. Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 637 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms from Blackwell to Happy Valley to Wingate. moving east at 25 mph. The storms will move moving east to Buffalo Gap, Tuscola, Ovalo, Lawn, and Winters. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 1 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen in Southwest Nolan county. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 2 inches are expected over the area. Abilene may also may see rainfall amounts up to 3/4 inch as storms move over the city. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include. Southern Abilene, Winters, Blackwell, Nolan, Tuscola, Buffalo Gap, Lawn, Happy Valley, Coronados Camp, Wingate, Hylton, Bradshaw, View, Norton, Caps, Crews, Maryneal, Potosi, Shep and Drasco. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
