At 449 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Phillipp, or 15 miles northwest of Senatobia, moving east at 15 mph. HAZARD. Wind gusts up to 40 mph and nickel size hail. SOURCE. Radar indicated. IMPACT. Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include. Senatobia, Strayhorn, Arkabutla, Little Texas, Phillipp, Robinson Gin, Lost Lake, Prichard, Sarah, Dooley, and Savage.

Additional rounds of heavy rainfall are anticipated now through Monday morning, with a potential lull in activity on Saturday. Heavy rains will further aggravate rivers and streams, causing rises to and above bankfull. * WHAT. Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible. * WHERE. Portions of East Arkansas, including the following areas, Clay, Craighead, Crittenden, Cross, Greene, Lee AR, Mississippi, Phillips, Poinsett and St. Francis, North Mississippi, including the following areas, Alcorn, Benton MS, Calhoun, Chickasaw, Coahoma, DeSoto, Itawamba, Lafayette, Lee MS, Marshall, Monroe, Panola, Pontotoc, Prentiss, Quitman, Tallahatchie, Tate, Tippah, Tishomingo, Tunica, Union and Yalobusha, Southeast Missouri, including the following areas, Dunklin and Pemiscot, and West Tennessee, including the following areas, Benton TN, Carroll, Chester, Crockett, Decatur, Dyer, Fayette, Gibson, Hardeman, Hardin, Haywood, Henderson, Henry, Lake, Lauderdale, Madison, McNairy, Obion, Shelby, Tipton and Weakley. * WHEN. Southwestern Shelby County in west Tennessee. * Until 515 PM CDT. * At 432 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Simsboro, or near Hughes, moving east at 20 mph.
