At 623 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 10 miles east of Badlands National Park, or 40 miles west of Kadoka, moving east at 20 mph. HAZARD. Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE. Radar indicated. IMPACT. Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include. Potato Creek, Interior, and southeastern Badlands National Park.

East central Pennington County in west central South Dakota. * Until 645 PM MDT. * At 558 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 3 miles northwest of Wall, or 30 miles west of Philip, moving east at 20 mph. HAZARD. 60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail. SOURCE. Radar indicated. IMPACT. Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. * This severe thunderstorm will be near. Wall and Quinn around 605 PM MDT. This includes Interstate 90 in South Dakota between Mile Markers 102 and 115.
