At 404 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Sandy Run to 7 miles northwest of Elloree. Movement was northeast at 35 mph. HAZARD. Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE. Radar indicated. IMPACT. Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include. Brookdale, St. Matthews, Summerton, Eastover, Congaree National Park, Gadsden, Poinsett State Park, Pinewood, Cameron, Rimini, Fort Motte, Stumphole Landing, Creston, Lone Star, Low Falls Landing, and Wilkinson Heights. This includes the following highways. Interstate 26 between mile markers 130 and 149. Interstate 95 near mile marker 111.

Boaters on Lake Murray Should Seek Safe Harbor. HAZARD. Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE. Radar indicated. IMPACT. Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include. Lexington, Irmo, Batesburg-Leesville, Highway 6 at Lake Murray Dam, Red Bank, St. Andrews, Saluda, Johnston, Ridge Spring, Dreher Island State Park, Saluda County Airport, Ballentine, Chapin, Pelion, Gilbert, Summit, Monetta, Ward, Cedar Grove Fire Station, and Saluda Co Sheriff's Office. This includes the following highways. Interstate 20 in South Carolina between mile markers 37 and 59. Interstate 26 between mile markers 96 and 103.

Central Richland County in central South Carolina. * Until 430 PM EDT. * At 347 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Gaston, or 7 miles south of Cayce, moving northeast at 20 mph. HAZARD. 60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail. SOURCE. Radar indicated. IMPACT. Expect damage to trees and powerlines. * Locations impacted include. Columbia, West Columbia, Cayce, Forest Acres, St. Andrews, McEntire Air Base, Oak Grove, Dentsville, South Congaree, Pine Ridge, Gaston, Arcadia Lakes, Eastover, Congaree National Park, Hopkins, Columbia International University, Horrel Hill, Harbison State Forest, Riverbanks Zoo, and SC State Farmer's Market. This includes the following highways. Interstate 126 between mile markers 0 and 3. Interstate 20 in South Carolina between mile markers 60 and 71. Interstate 26 between mile markers 104 and 129. Interstate 77 between mile markers 0 and 13.
