At 1221 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated an outflow boundary extending from strong thunderstorms, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. These thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 36 nm north of Ashtabula to 25 nm northwest of Geneva- On-The-Lake to 25 nm northwest of Fairport Harbor to 26 nm north of Avon Point to 15 nm northeast of Kelleys Island, moving east at 45 knots. The outflow boundary will move through the eastern half of Lake Erie over the next hour or two and bring a notable wind shift on the lake, along with a brief window of elevated gusts.
