FFWTSA The National Weather Service in Tulsa has issued a * Flash Flood Warning for. Nowata County in northeastern Oklahoma. Rogers County in northeastern Oklahoma. * Until 630 PM CDT. * At 327 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. The expected rainfall rate is 0.5 to 2 inches in 2 hours. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD. Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE. Radar. IMPACT. Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include. Claremore. Nowata. Owasso. Catoosa. Verdigris. Inola. Oologah. Delaware. Foyil. Lenapah. Talala. Wann. New Alluwe. Watova. Tiawah. Taiwah. Bushyhead.

* WHAT. Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE. A portion of northeast Oklahoma, including the following counties, Nowata, Rogers and Washington OK. * WHEN. Until 615 PM CDT. * IMPACTS. Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 308 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 2 inches are expected over the area.
