At 913 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over McLoud, moving east at 20 mph. HAZARD. Wind gusts of 40 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE. Radar indicated. IMPACT. Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include. Shawnee, McLoud, Meeker, Johnson, Dale, and Aydelotte.

* WHAT. Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE. Portions of Arkansas, including the following counties, Crawford, Franklin and Sebastian and Oklahoma, including the following counties, Choctaw, Haskell, Latimer, Le Flore, McIntosh, Muskogee, Okfuskee, Okmulgee, Pittsburg, Pushmataha and Sequoyah. * WHEN. Until 7 AM CDT Wednesday. * IMPACTS. Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - Thunderstorms are expected to move into eastern Oklahoma this evening and spread east and southward overnight. Locally heavy rainfall totals of 1 to 3 inches are expected primarily across portions of eastern Oklahoma. Recent heavy rainfall will allow any additional heavy rains to lead to rapid onset flooding.
