* WHAT. Abnormally low water levels. * WHERE. The open waters of Lake Erie from Maumee Bay to Vermilion OH. * WHEN. From 2 PM this afternoon to 11 PM EDT this evening. * IMPACTS. Below normal water levels will result in hazardous navigating conditions. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. West winds to 25 to 30 knots over the open waters of Lake Erie this evening will cause water levels in the western basin of Lake Erie to drop rapidly. The water level at Toledo will likely drop below the critical mark for safe navigation, which is 19 inches above low water datum, this afternoon into this evening. As of 3 PM EDT, the water level at Toledo was 39.7 inches above low water datum.
