An extended period of hot daytime air temperatures and heat indices will continue today and Saturday. Expect high temperatures in the lower and mid 90s both afternoons, with maximum heat indices in the mid and upper 90s across all of central Indiana. These values may be hazardous, especially for sensitive and vulnerable populations. Take extra precautions if possible, including drinking sufficient non-alcoholic beverages and limiting extended outdoor exposure to the heat in the afternoon to early evening hours.
