Red River of the North at Fargo affecting Cass and Clay Counties. .Recent heavy rainfall in the southern Red River Valley is leading to increased river levels along the Red River in Fargo. For the Red River. including Fargo. Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT. Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE. Red River of the North at Fargo. * WHEN. From late Monday night to Friday afternoon. * IMPACTS. At 18.0 feet, MINOR FLOOD. Elm St between 14th and 15th Ave N is closed (Fargo). Storm sewer pump stations are beginning to operate (Fargo). * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 11:15 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 17.1 feet. - Forecast. The river is expected to rise above flood stage early Tuesday morning to a crest of 18.5 feet early Wednesday morning. It will then fall below flood stage late Thursday morning. - Flood stage is 18.0 feet.
