The areas affected include. Coastal waters from Surf City to Cape Fear NC out 20 nm. Waters from Surf City to Cape Fear NC from 20 to 40 nm. At 2 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots and cloud to sea lightning. The thunderstorms were located near Sheepshead Rock northward to the lower Cape Fear River, moving northeast at 30 knots. The strong thunderstorm will affect. Dredge Wreck, 5 Mile Boxcars, 10 Mile Boxcars, Buoy Off Carolina Beach, Carolina Beach, School House Reef, 10 Mile Rocks, W R 2, and Topsail Boxcars.
