A Marine Weather Statement has been issued for the following areas. Coastal waters from Cape Fear NC to Little River Inlet SC out 20 nm. Coastal waters from Surf City to Cape Fear NC out 20 nm. Waters from Cape Fear NC to Little River Inlet SC from 20 to 40 nm. Waters from Surf City to Cape Fear NC from 20 to 40 nm. At 919 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a strong thunderstorm, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. This thunderstorm was located near Mount Dirfy's Wreck, moving east at 40 knots. Additional storms are also possible in this area. Locations impacted include. Frying Pan Shoals Light Tower, Wreck 33, Cape Fear Knuckle Buoy, Raritan Wreck, and Mount Dirfy's Wreck.
