The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in North Carolina. South Carolina. Cape Fear River At William O Huske Lock And Dam 3 affecting Cumberland and Bladen Counties. Northeast Cape Fear River Near Burgaw affecting Pender County. Waccamaw River near Longs affecting Columbus, Horry and Brunswick Counties. . The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in North Carolina. Waccamaw River near Freeland affecting Columbus and Brunswick Counties. * WHAT. Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE. Northeast Cape Fear River near Burgaw. * WHEN. Until Wednesday morning. * IMPACTS. At 11.0 feet, Floodwaters continue to rise and affect roads in the River Bend and River Birch subdivisions off Highway 53 along the east bank of the river. Portions of Croomsbridge Road and Old Maple Hill Road become impassable. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 9:30 AM EDT Sunday the stage was 11.2 feet. - Forecast. The river is expected to fall below flood stage early Tuesday afternoon and continue falling to 7.5 feet Friday morning. - Flood stage is 10.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Cape Fear River at William O Huske Lock And Dam 3. * WHEN. Until late tonight. * IMPACTS. At 42.0 feet, Water levels will top the navigational lock and equipment must be removed. Minor flooding will occur on land adjacent to the east bank of the river. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 9:00 AM EDT Sunday the stage was 41.8 feet. - Forecast. Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE. Waccamaw River near Freeland. * WHEN. Until Wednesday evening. * IMPACTS. At 16.0 feet, Water will continue to spread out of its banks and into swamps along the river and some yards near the river will begin to flood. Fields along Kingstown Rd, Crusoe Island Road, and Dock Road may begin to flood. Pireway Road NW may begin to flood between Horseshoe Road NW and Rivergate Drive. Rivergate Drive may begin to flood. Mosquito Rd NW may begin to flood. The end of Reaves Ferry Road near Nakina may be flooded. Ash-Little River Road may begin to flood near Wet Ash Swamp. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 9:30 AM EDT Sunday the stage was 15.7 feet. - Forecast.
